I have always had a fascination with how things work. When I came across computers I couldn’t help but be intrigued with the inner workings of such a machine. It didn’t take long for me to recognise that, as cool as the machine itself is, its really the software that works the magic. In 2002 I decided it was time for a career change and studied a Bachelor of IT in Software Engineering at QUT in Brisbane, Australia. I have worked as a developer ever since and have never looked back.

Since then I have worked on a number of interesting projects over an array of industries. I have worked with some really smart people, made some great friends and learned quite a bit in the process. I have also made use of the internet extensively, as we all do, and have often found just the answer I needed on someone’s blog. I hope that some of the information here might be as useful as some of the blogs that have helped me on my way in the past.

I am currently in London working for a gaming company and am enjoying the change of scenery immensely. I recently purchased a Triumph ST1050 which my partner Annie and I intend to use to do some touring through England and Europe. We are busy plotting routes and finding out what there is to see on this side of the world and are having a great time in the process.

But enough about me … check out some of the posts, feel free to leave a comment and happy coding :-)
